Everything started when Aqual and Skal, two rising talents in the music industry, approached me with their latest track, “GKRI“. A song that blends relaxing blues melodies with an introspective, almost cinematic atmosphere. My challenge? To envision the music and translate it into a visual that truly embodies its essence.

• A Window to Emotion: The design captures the song’s essence like looking out of a rain-covered window, lost in thought.

• Raindrop Aesthetics: The condensation and droplets represent the song’s moody and immersive feel, much like blues music itself.

• Part of the Story: The title “GKRI” appears as if it’s written on the foggy glass, fading, melting, and blending with the rain symbolizing nostalgia, longing, and reflection.

• From Still to Alive: I didn’t stop at a static image I animated it, making the raindrops move naturally, enhancing the immersive experience. The result? A living, breathing visual that feels as soulful as the song itself.

To elevate the track even further, the mixing and mastering were handled by none other than BoyPanda, a highly respected name in the industry with more than a 100k monthly listeners. If you’re into Greek hip-hop, you might know him as the genius behind 12ο Πίθηκος, one of the most legendary rappers in Greece. His work on “GKRI” ensures the track not only carries deep emotion but also delivers a polished, high-quality sound.
